As a Holistic Health Counselor and Therapeutic Yoga instructor, I have studied prevailing dietary theories and clinical aspects of health and nutrition.
I began my health counseling journey not only to help myself, but other's who want to live healthier, happier and more energetic lives through whole food nutrition, supplementation and healthy lifestyle guidance. Each program is uniquely tailored to the individual to holistically heal common chronic health concerns.
While most dietitian's dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, my philosophy is to provide clients with the ‘tools’ to create a happy, healthy and holistic life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of willpower and denial.
A true holistic approach to life incorporates things that nourish other than food, including honest and open relationships, a meaningful spiritual practice, a career that inspires you, and physical activity that you enjoy. These elements are called Primary Food. As a Health Counselor, I will work with you to help you find balance in both Primary Foods and the foods you eat on a daily basis. I will guide you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.
